Hello, my name is Rebekah Marks. I live in Peru, Indiana with my husband and our two children in a 125-year-old house with flowers on the porch.
Between being a wife, mother, and homemaker, I find time to sew for fun and fashion. This blog is an outlet for me to write about what I’ve learned regarding sewing alterations.
Sometimes I’ve learned tricks from online tutorials. Sometimes I’ve found out 10 ways of doing it wrong before finding a way that works. Success stands on a pile of failures!
A secondary purpose of this blog is to document what I learn about running a small business in the busyness of our daily life. To those already doing this successfully, please let me know how you do it! I’m finding out the hard way how to wear all these hats.
For any seamstresses out there who sew or alter clothing, I hope this blog helps you in your endeavors. Please tell me how you sew, too. I’m always looking for new and better ways to serve my clients.
For those who are in the market for clothing or seamstresses, I hope this blog guides you to the best option for you.
I look forward to your courteous comments. Thank you for reading!
